Quoted: A Mighty Wind I hate to admit it, but that CD is in the changer in one of my vehicles right now. Satire or not, there are some catchy "folk" tunes in there... |

Only one person has mentioned it, but 'Gladiator' is by far my most favorite soundtrack. The track 'Barbarian Horde' is quite possibly one of the most heroic pieces of music I've ever heard. I love it.

Great soundtracks in here, don't think anyone has mentioned The Right Stuff yet. ETA particularly the main theme, breaking the sound barrier, and Glenn's flight.
Other favorites: Rudy The Ten Commandments Ben Hur Jurassic Park Dances with Wolves Gladiator I have plenty others. Movies are a really great source of music. |

I like Howard Shore's score for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Bridge of Khaza Dhum is excellent.
To Live and Die in LA has a nice soundtrack for highway cruising. Coneheads Quigley Batman (Keaton,Nicholson) Goonies (some good 80s pop there) Mission Impossible Matrix Alien and Aliens (score) Maximum Overdrive Pulp Fiction Shawshank Redemption Score Oceans 11 and 12 Adventures of Ford Fairlane Predator (Score by Silvestri. Play the opening title loud!!) You may need to use some, uh, nontraditional methods to find this one. Die Hard Score (again, this may take a bit of looking). Good Morning Vietnam Cars Cocktail Ghostbusters Top Gun Heat Red October Indiana Jones Trilogy The Harry Potter series, especially 1 and 3. Star Wars IV-VI Ronin (Score by Elia Cmiral) Flash Gordon (Queen!!!) Better Off Dead Rad (classic 80s cheese) Jurassic Park Robocop Starship Troopers Aladdin (Disney, Robin Williams) Wayne's World I & II Back to the Future (especially III with ZZTop) Dazed & Confused Austin Powers Beverly Hills Cop Blues Brothers (original) Beavis & Butthead Do America (really. It's excellent) Kelly's Heroes Shrek Ferris Bueller Terminator II Schindler's List (Perlman is amazing) Total Recall score Both Zorro's Anything by Basil Poledouris or Ennio Morricone |
