Damnit, OP, I came here to post The Moneypit. It is a very 80s comedy.
Also on my list are Turner and Hooch (Love Tom Hanks, and wish he would go back to his roots and do a good comedy again)
and Airplane! though I usually forget it is 80s and not late 70s

Man, there's a huge list, I can't even list 'em all.

Here's one I doubt will be on anyone else's list:

"Running Scared" with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines. It's a action/comedy where they play two Chicago cops who decide to retire but get caught up on something before they can leave. It plays on some of the standard cop tropes, "You weren't being careful, were you? Being careful gets you killed."
