Quoted: Quoted: Chesapeake police say they first responded to an "active shooter" call at the store around 10:12 p.m. local time. When officers arrived, they coordinated with a tactical team before entering the store, where they found multiple bodies, according to Chesapeake police spokesman Leo Kosinski. Original report said officers waited 35-40 minutes before entering the store. It was later Revised to leave wait time out. Not that it would have done any good in this situation to go in when they arrived. Only thing is they did not know shooter shot himself, and could have been worse. How does this keep happening? I have a theory, but it would probably get me banned... I'll shut the fuck up now... |

View Quote You would think somebody somewhere by now would have had the idea to find the common denominators with "mass shooters" then try to figure out why, in the interest of reducing it. It might just be that there is such a massive pool of people who fit the profile, that picking that needle out of the haystack is just not plausible. The gun doesn't walk into a school and start murdering toddlers, people do. But we have so many fucked up families and situations in this country it's beyond belief. |

Yes, but as with Uvalde, IF (I'm not passing judgment until all the facts are in) it bears out that any individual officer or officers should have acted sooner than they did, and they failed to do so because they decided to put their own self-interests FIRST, then: A. They have no business wearing any kind of law enforcement uniform, ever. B. They are a disgrace to their profession and the oath they took. and, C. I hope that the fact that they are a worthless chickenshit coward haunts them, every time they look in the mirror, for the rest of their days on earth. Now again, I am not saying that IS the case here, I am merely saying IF that is the case. |
