I've been working on a 3d printed trip for the CMMG bolt that uses the BoreBuddy metal bar from the SS trip kit (the bar can be bought by itself). I'm close to getting it working and got a few bursts between jams. I was getting a ton of issues with my gun the last 2 times I went out to test. Turns out I broke my firing pin. I got a new firing pin and will be testing it again this weekend. The AZR creator is also working on a metal version. |

I received my Super Selektor from Atrius a couple of days ago and installed it in a lower with an Expo Arms X ALG Defense Superior Mil-Spec Trigger (QMS). The trigger is made by ALG, is cheap, and has the correct profile on the rear where the selector interacts. In bench testing, no issues between safe/semi/FRT 3rd positions. Safety works, semi-auto works, FRT works. The trip lever doesn't look as robust as I think it could be; rounds fired will be the test to see if the tip of the trip lever breaks off like I've seen others experience with low round counts. I'll double-check the BCG I'm using to make sure there are no rough edges on the sear trip surface at the rear. I am concerned about BCG and hammer drop timing. On the bench, testing the Super Selektor FRT function, the hammer drops earlier in the BCG cycle than I would have expected. By a percentage scale, the Super Selektor will let the hammer drop when the BCG is 60-70% from being in full lock-up. By means of comparison, my AZ Regulator keeps the trigger locked until the BCG is 95% of the way home. I know there's an almost-zero chance of an OOB if the hammer drops before the bolt closes, outside from a stuck firing pin scenario, but from a reliability perspective, this seems less than optimal. The relationship between the cam lobe interacting with the trigger and the trip lever seems like it could be changed to keep the trigger blocked until later in the BCG cycle. |

Might try making a shim out of an aluminum can to reduce lateral and axial play. I expected the Atrius to be more precise. |

That doesn’t appear to be the case. I had to bevel the shelf on this PA X9 lower to allow the lever to travel back far enough. You can kind of see that where the red grease sits. When the lever is pushed back, those bevels center it pretty well. I think the bolt occasionally contacts the right side of the lever, during forward travel, where you can see the finish worn off. It’s on the edge of the curve where the flash makes it look like a bright spot. One of the friendly neighborhood warlords gave me a centering spacer. It will have to be shortened to fit in the pocket. Not sure about that, but I guess I can bring it the next time we go shooting. This thing gets jankier every time I touch it. I got my Super Selektor installed today. I noticed the lever protrudes quite a bit out of the lower, almost high enough to clear the selector stops on the lower. Is it supposed to be like this? It passes function checks and seems to be working properly in all three positions.

Low 1800 order numbers placed under 30 hours after they offered for sale are now being delivered. Might be a week or two before I can test it out. |
A YouTuber has broken one already!!! Atrius Super Selektor... Could Have been incredible The lever that gets hit by the bolt carrier broke. The guy said it was a cast part. |

So weird issue with mine. I saw a video where a Palmetto State Armory enhanced trigger (or whatever its called) works. Gun 1: I installed it in one of my SBR with that trigger and it didn't work. On that receiver I had previously put anti-walk bars on the trigger and hammer pins so I thought it maybe out of spec. Gun 2: I tried it in my oldest 16" barrel gun and it worked function checking it! Gun 3: Well I have another SBR with the same brand receiver as Gun 1 but a different style PSA trigger that looked like it would work so I tried it in there to see and it didn't work. I looked in my pile of parts and found another PSA enhanced trigger and installed it and still didn't work. I then took the trigger out of my oldest gun (Gun 2) and put it in Gun 3 and it worked with the short barrel. I then put the barrel from Gun 2 on Gun 3 and it worked. OK it was just the trigger. I want to try it in my Gun 2 first so I took everything back off of Gun 3 and put it on Gun 2 and it now it doesn't work. Tried a 16" upper off of Gun 4 and didn't work. Tried bolt from Gun 3 and new Gun 4 in upper from Gun 2 and it didn't work. WTF am I doing wrong? Something in the assembly process? Typed all that out and before I hit send I went back and took safety apart and put it back together again and still didn't work. Eta: Took everything back out of Gun 2 and put in Gun 3 and it worked again. To make sure put it all back into Gun 2 and it didn't work. Put it all back in Gun 3 and it worked with uppers from Gun 1,2,3,and 4. |
