Quoted: If I remember correctly, the trip, either printed or the bore buddy adjustable one, would bind on the adapter. The cmmg mags are cheap enough and even not awful to load with one of the loaders that you dump a bunch of rounds into and load at once. Ironically, mine runs so much better with the 3d printed trip than with the high end bore buddy adjustable. Is your trip home made/printed, or did you buy it somewhere? So far, my mags, adapter, and trip have not caused any issues with each other. But I have only shot a couple hundred rounds. However I have not had a chance to try any other FRT's other than the dairyland, which did not set off 22's. So all the rounds I have shot have been semi auto. I have a FRT15L3 on the way to try out, and also a AZ regulator. If all of these fail, I will look into a SS. It is not the design of the SS I hate, it is the push button. That is why I am hoping for the ambi model to come out and the production of these to ramp up to meet demand. |

BoreBuddy also sells a metal trip kit for the SS. It works with the SS and I can confirm it does NOT work with the AZR. The trip engagement points are different. The printed part for the AZR that I've been working on uses the metal bar from the BB kit. BTW, there is a new option I saw last week for using M&P 15-22 mags with a CMMG bolt: https://arcatch22.com/products/s-w-15-22-magazine-with-the-catch22-adapter Attached File Attached File I might try one of these out after I try a CMMG mag. I have 6 M&P mags and a Black Dog 50rd drum, I have to figure out a way to use them with the CMMG bolt again. BoreBuddy also stopped selling the BetterMag adapter citing reliability issues. |

I haven't read through all the posts so not sure if this is duplicate info, but I got an email yesterday saying the below. I am order #3489, so don't expect to see anything for quite some time. Hey, Quick update on your order - A surge in demand temporarily crashed our system, causing delays in order processing. The good news is we’re now back on track—orders are shipping daily from fully stocked inventory, with most orders going out within 1–4 weeks, depending on your place in the queue. We’ve added four new processing stations to speed things up, and the delays—caused by a fulfillment bottleneck, not a product shortage—have been resolved. Quoted: @ARguy would you mind saying which printed trip you're using? I’ve tried a few different trips and they all perform the same. The primary issue withe the Super Safety is the loose fitting lever fitting in the cam. Too much slop and the lever will fail to rotate the cam enough to work. I ended up having a lever printed with a slight larger base for a tight fit in the cam to eliminate the slop. I have no idea about how well the Super Selektor works or whether or not it has a sloppy lever fitting. |

At least it could help diagnose a problem. |

Not sure how to feel about the company’s customer communication strategy, It is pretty clear this is not an administrative fulfillment problem and that they well outsold their supply logistics. As a consumer, I am not all that personally annoyed. As a friend of someone who makes a similar, better, product…… who could do the same thing easily……. But only sells product on hand……… i am a little bit more than annoyed, |

Order 648, received yesterday. That was after contacting them a few times. I do believe that these are shipping from somewhere other than Atrius directly. From everything I have read/seen, they are in CA. I could be wrong though. I do know the safeties are shipping from GA. I have my theories of what is going on, but I'm gonna keeo those to myself as to not spread disinformation. Again, I could be completely incorrect in assuming they are in CA. |
|
Quoted: Also seem to be having issues vs a normal SS. Not resetting the hammer, or getting hammer follow. Again, no issues with a Hoffman, but this isn't plug and play with known functioning systems. The Atrius dipshits keep saying it's designed around a "milspec" trigger not understanding that there's variance between the GI-type trigger dimensions by manufacturer (PSA triggers already proving to be a problem) and they refuse to note what brand or dimensions the design is based around. They give off AZ Regulator vibes in terms of information delivery. I recently put up a pistol for sale and I'm like "it's based on this system, the mags are available at (link), and I'm not sure what grips would interchange." I'm selling ONE goddamn item and trying to inform the customer of what I know, but Atrius has 8000 units sold and just say they're "working with the community" to determine function. Absolute dipshits. It may be a good product, but they're going to cause me hours of tinkering and testing because they are unable to communicate. |
Maybe if we keep their location a secret RB can’t find them to serve papers. ![]() Y’all quit pestering them and let them focus on production while they can. We can figure it out and communicate here. There are lots of variations and if you aren’t prepared to tinker and work at it this isn’t for you. It’s a hobby. Try to enjoy it. |

I consult at $125-165 per hour. I have zero interest in bumblefucking through six FCGs because they can't communicate. Their instagram initially referred to three trigger groups they claim work. Their website has finally been updated with a broader list, which appears to be based entirely on "community feedback." The only FCG of interest at the moment is the Schmid 2 Stage. Based on the physics of the reset, it should allow for less opposing forces in the reset process. I've ordered two. |
| Seems like they did update the information on the page to properly reflect what you need to be looking for. It now says: This product was designed for mil-spec triggers that do not have a relief cut (that means the rear of the bottom half of the trigger - not the hammer, must be completely squared off) |
|
I am prepared to tinker, I'm just saying that using a trigger that they recommend, Schmidt, it's getting hammer follow. I didn't have long last night to mess with it so I'm gonna see what I can do with it tonight hopefully. I definitely think they possibly rushed getting this out to market, whether that was from the possibility of getting a C&D, or just wanting to get the largest market share they could. The machining is not as refined as I would have liked to have seen. It needed a little work with some India stones to not feel like it was gonna bind trying to switch positions. Also the spring they are using could have been better thought through, but that's probably me nit picking. I may try to find an alternative spring that will function a little better. Overall I think it's an awesome idea, and the first "SS" using a traditional safety I've seen. I give them kudos for that. |

I just assumed two stage might not work well and ordered two of their flat single stage ptfe coated. For that microplastic goodness. Wish the Atrius arrived as fast. |

I've got a little over a week to hit that "4 week" max window (Ordered on May 21st). I'll likely email at the 5 week window to see what's up if I haven't received a shipment notice. |

I've got a little over a week to hit that "4 week" max window (Ordered on May 21st). I'll likely email at the 5 week window to see what's up if I haven't received a shipment notice. The wait isn't my problem. It's not surprising to see a company not keep up with demand, or not make enough units at launch. That happens. Many companies don't have the budget to produce enough units at launch. Production costs money and they haven't gone live. I get it. I'm in negotiations to start a company right now. Shit doesn't always go smoothly. My issue is productivity during that wait. I can wait. I've owned actual MGs. I have a RB delivering today. I'm fine. My problem is their unwillingness to produce actionable data or dimensions that allows people with 15+ FCGs on hand and 10+ rifles in various calibers to plan, eliminate some options, move things around, or otherwise prepare. Their ideal customer appears be 23 years old wearing a flat brim hat with a stock $550 rifle, with expectations and desires solely based around making noise in the backyard. Their videos are annoying, silly, and targeted at retards. There's already been issues discovered with some GI type FCGs. They refuse to say what brand FCG the system is based on, with the closest/best info being the claim that the Dirty Bird brand FCG is "compatible." So rather than arming me with the information needed to sift through my parts on hand, they're forcing me to wait until delivery to 1) Identify as least one reliable GI type FCG on hand to use as a control 2) Determine which changes in geometry of the trigger bar impact function/options 3) Apply that knowledge to the other trigger groups, regardless of being GI type, drop in, etc. So the wait could be a productive period, and I could have rifles/parts set aside that are "likely" or "possibly" good options, but they've made the decision not to release info about compatible dimensions. When they originally said "mil spec" FCG, I assumed I knew what they meant. Now I realize they don't know what they mean. Just Googling "mil spec" trigger shows varied geometries, and it appears Anderson trigger bars have the M16 cutout, which means that particular one wouldn't work, I think, as it seems they previously said there shouldn't be a cutout. That means the most "mil spec" of the GI type trigger bars isn't compatible. Attached File I made it a point years ago to not put the same trigger in every gun. I don't want the shooting experience with every AR. These idiots are going to waste my time by not communicating the basics. Edit: And I don't want a "community list." I want to know what works, what doesn't, and WHY, do I can apply that data to other FCGs. We have a few tidbits to go on, like the housing on most drop-in units interfering regardless of the trigger bar shape. But, for fuck's sake, tell us the basics. What. fucking. trigger. group. was. this. designed. for. The answer I think I've gleaned from weeks of trying to follow their shitshow is closed-back, civilian (non-M16 cut), GI-type trigger bars are the design spec. They could literally post a picture of a single trigger laying on a table with a sign in crayon saying "SUMTHING LIKE DIS" and they'd remove most of the mystery. Fucking incompetence. Also, my frustration is that I detest standard FCGs. One of the three "compatible" triggers originally endorsed by the company is literally labeled a 6 lb trigger. Another is a drop-in. That tells me there is geometry that can be identified that will determine compatibility, and I'm left just trying to extrapolate the info based on photos and hints because they can't write one coherent sentence. Atrius Development is just the guy from AZ Regulator, but with more rap music. |
|
Quoted: You just need the trigger tang that engages the safety to be flat at the engagement edge - marked below. The image shows a compatible tang. If the marked edge is relief-cut then the trigger is not compatible. If the whole tang is solid and flat - that is still compatible. https://i.imgur.com/ATa5FVe.png I have a bunch of 3.5lb single stage drop in triggers from RA and MTM and they all have the correct geometry. If you want a safe bet, drop-in crisp 3.5lb single-stage that will work and won't break the bank - get a RA-140 and call it a day. The only other thing you must confirm is that your bolt carrier is FA cut. |

Quoted: They added an "order tracking" form on the website but it doesn't give you any real useful information. https://atrius.dev/order-tracking/ What do you mean? I tried it and it says this: "Order has been placed successfully. Please expect up to 5 business days for order processing. Order will be fulfilled within 4 weeks." That's more information I had than before I looked at that link. I mean... I have serious doubts that I'll have it within 4 weeks if they're only around the 1500 mark now. I think someone the other day said they just got their #14xx order and that was around the 24 or so day mark. To make the math easy, call it 1500 in 25 days. 60 per day. I'm at 85xx. My expectations are more in line with 4 months rather than 4 weeks. But then I could be totally wrong and they've subbed out production to a bunch of machine shops to increase rate of production so this doesn't get dragged out that far. If so, hopefully they planned for that ahead of time and have good shops lined up who understand the product and how to make it right. Otherwise, I'd sooner just wait the 4 months. |
