Can anyone verify the notch at the back of the trigger is an issue or did I miss it earlier in this thread?![]() Failed To Load Title |

Attached File Mine arrived today. I was order #290 if anyone is curious. I ordered as soon as they went live on the 16th. Not that I care, but the packaging is different than what appears in the video above. I wonder if they ran out of the official packaging?? |

Quoted: Can anyone verify the notch at the back of the trigger is an issue or did I miss it earlier in this thread? Open vs closed back on the trigger is M16 vs AR-15 spec. The open notch allows the longer FA disconnector tail to be tripped by the auto sear. |

Quoted: I get that. My question was is it really causing the problem he was seeing. Sorry I wasn't clear. Quoted: Quoted: Open vs closed back on the trigger is M16 vs AR-15 spec. No, you were clear; I just brain dumped instead of re-reading what you wrote. |

Quoted: Can anyone verify the notch at the back of the trigger is an issue or did I miss it earlier in this thread? You need to cut a notch in the back of the trigger. Some places even sell jigs for it. ![]() How to cut a trigger for a Super Safety AI says that the Atrius Super Selektor is capable of, semi-auto & "Fully semi-auto" fire. Here I thought that was a made up term. ![]()

The people bouncing off wall with joy like it is get a bit annoying. This was settled by the Cargill supreme court decision. The settlement was just the Gov dropping it's appeal based on knowing they would lose due to Cargill while still saving some face. |

Quoted: What happens if Rarebreed determines that XYZ SUPER FRT SAFETY SELECTOR doesn't violate there patent and does not choose to C/D the manufacturer or sue to prevent their product from being produced? Non-infringing designs can be freely produced. |

Curious if these work in (any manufacturer) 2-stage triggers...? I haven't seen that specifically addressed, so if anyone knows one way or the other I'd appreciate some clarification. I have several LaRue MBT-2S straight bow triggers (in addition to some SSA-Es) in some AR builds and it'd be great if they'd work in those, guess there's only one way to find out! |

I tried mine in a lower with an MBT and did not have much success. It would bind when put into the forced reset third position. I think the MBTs could probably be made to work but I didnt tinker with it much. Wound up swapping the MBT for a PSA EPT trigger and it works as designed. |

Quoted: Are they going after any of the SS manufacturers? Quoted: Quoted: They can (and should) drop all claims that aren't covered by their patents. Non-infringing designs can be freely produced. Are they going after any of the SS manufacturers? I have not heard of them going after anyone after the settlement...yet. Their video on the main page of their site says they will, but did not specify who. I'm sure there are some who are ACTUALLY infringing on their patent, and so we don't know if it'll stop there or if they will try to overreach WITH government support. |

Did rare breed release their 3 pos frt yet? If not, I wonder how the agreement with the gov will effect RB with the development of their 3 pos. I thought I read that RB wasn't allowed to drastically modify the current design or make them for "pistols" but that's a broad statement wide open for interpretation. |

I read in one of these threads that they won some 3 position ones in a patwnt lawsuit, and the DTT triggers were these 3 position triggers being sold off out of the ones they won. That said, I could be completely wrong about that. However, if true and those were covered under their patent to the extent they won them in a lawsuit, I imagine they'd still be able to make more using their patent. |

The Rare Breed FRTs are 3-position; safe/semi/forced reset. https://rarebreedtriggers.com/product/frt-15l3/ |

The post I was replying to was a video on cutting the trigger for a cross-bolt super safety. Not the super selektor The Atrius is SUPPOSED to work on standard mil-spec triggers. I guess we will see what it does and doesn't work with as more people get them. |

Quoted: Don't get too excited. Part of the ruling in favor of Rarebreed stated that Rarebreed must strictly defend their patent. If that is true, it's basically the Gov's backdoor way of ensuring that there isn't an explosion of FRT designs on the market despite the ruling stating that FRTs are in legal compliance. They (gov) learned that lesson from the whole brace fiasco (look at the huge variety and availability of pistol braces). Grey Market Research posted a copy of the C&D letter they received. Basically only FR trigger groups made by (or licensed by) Rarebreed can exist because everything else is magically a very, very, very distant patent infringement. https://greymarketresearch.net/legal-defense-fund/ Yeah that’s crazy. He and his wife are all over instagram commenting to people and defending their position which seems pretty weak to me. |

Quoted: Open vs closed back on the trigger is M16 vs AR-15 spec. The open notch allows the longer FA disconnector tail to be tripped by the auto sear. Well that’s not how the system works but ok For folks at home in a 16 the disconnector is not contacted by the autosear The autosear catches the hammer hook and releases the hammer hook automagically Disconnector only retains hammer when in single fire mode in a 16 |

Long tail is used by the selector to disengage the disconnector when in the full auto position. |

Jesus... only $500 I am glad that there is a 3 position option now though. |
