A hero is someone that acted in great danger to save a life(s). She did just that. But and this is a big but, if she makes a movie deal and keeps the money and runs she is no hero in my book. Remember all of the men that ran into the towers? where is the movie deals from the ones that made it out alive? I haven't seen any movies from them. They are true heros!

Call me an armchair commando if you want I don't care. How would I have acted? Only GOD knows. This is just how I feel.

It's called money. If people are willing to give her money for her story, why shouldn't she profit from it?

If you were in her position, and I came up to you and offerred you a million dollars for your story, you would turn it down?

This is America, a system that runs on captalism.

I guess you would think that Audie Murphy wass less of a hero for profitting on his heroism during WWII? He was paid $400,000 in 1955 to portray himself on "To Hell and Back" which was the story of his exploits during the War. Guess we should take away his Medal of Honor.

She came back after going to the store was STILL THERE. Call the fucking cops on a loiterer, give them his license plate. Drive around. Do not get out of your car.

Was she really that stupid? This is in Duluth, GA, not Compton. He would have stuck out a little. If some asshole was parked near my driveway sitting in his car at 2AM I'd be on the phone to the cops.

She could have done a LOT differently.

It's called hindsight, or Monday morning quarterbacking. Sure, now she can probably think of things she should have done differently, but she made the best choices she could at the time. How do we know that? Because she's still alive, which is more than can be said for four other people who interacted with him (two of them armed btw)
He killed a sheriff who ran into him in the parking garage, and a customs agent, both of them presumably armed.

Rush had a caller on his show that stated she'd been hijacked like this woman and said her "femininity" kicked in as her best means for survival. She didn't say what she did but she did say that she didn't want to have to tell everyone because they would get the wrong idea and feel she had another motive other than survival. This guy wanted VIOLENCE and she didn't let him have it. Survival plain and simple.

Since you won't allow me to back out, what the hell makes you the expert on what happened? Is it totally inconceivable that this could have happened? I saw the interview. It was a gut feeling. Neither you nor I were actually there so it is a matter of personal opinion. I strongly suspect that there are others who have posted about this who suspect the same, yet they won't say it. RustyGun did, and I reluctantly agreed with him. I thought better of it and reversed course (publicly at least). But the "SuperScoop" has to call me on it. Fine. That's what I think. So what? If it comes out later that she did have sex with him, are you gonna come off the high horse? I will if I'm wrong. Count on it.

THAT was where my gut feeling came from. And I don't appreciate you insinuating that it bothered me because he was black. That has nothing to do with it. I was merely stating what my opinion is. 1. Without looking hard I did not find any white men near me who had raped anyone but I didn't have a problem finding those who molested children. I researched the sex offenders list.

Rest assured, they did not "do the deed". 7 hours is plenty time, sure, but Nichols was running scared. He needed to hide, not to "get his winky wet". He was in pure survival mode. Self preservation, not species preservation. Abusing this woman would only draw attention to himself. He had the presence of mind to ditch the truck before daylight and the discovery of his 4th murder. They were watching the news...

The woman was already psychologically scarred (toughened?) by the murder of her husband. That her husband DIED IN HER ARMS is something that would will her to live and was most likely, the reason she did what she did. I doubt she would have held together if she knew about the 4th murder.
