If you sit on the couch with your laptop or any other electronic gadget which needs power - run the gadget side* of the power cable behind the seat cushions of the couch. This will keep things neat looking, keep cords out from underfoot, and also keep power handy.
*That is, everything downstream of the power adapter brick. Don't stuff it in the cushions it will get extremely hot. |

To save money on handsoap:
1 Buy one foaming hand soap container at walmart. Equate Brand 2 Buy one of the Liter refill bottles of equate hand soap, the NON foaming variety. when the hand pump runs out, put about a quarter inch of the thicker, normal hand soap in there, and fill the rest with water. Foamy as heck and the thicker soap is cheaper than the foaming stuff. we've been going on our original refill of handsoap for about two years now, and we fill all the dispensers in the house. Also in a pinch, Dawn Dishsoap is also pretty foamy and good hand soapl |

If you run across the industrial type toilet paper rolls that dont have a tube (Center less), grab a small roll (The end of the roll) about 2-3" worth to keep in your car. There is a ton of paper in those last few inches and it is very compact. ETA, this is the kind.  |

Works great as a handy oil bottle. Also great for condiments when camping / backpacking. Those cheap plastic hobo freight bottles always seam to leak. The mio bottles are surprisingly leak resistant. |

| Wear contacts? Know someone that does? Save the contac lens solution bottles. Peel off the label and use a screw driver to pop the cap top off. Rinse and allow to dry. Fill with: you most used shop lubricants, any solvents, degreasing products. Each contact solution bottle has a dropper tip applicator top and an attached flip open cap, put a drop or a squirt right where you need it. Use a paint marker to write the contents on the top shoulder of the bottle so you can find the one you need when you are storing a bunch in a box or drawer. Free or nearly so! |

This is only for people that really like to eat chicken wings -
This technique is for the wing, not the drum. The wing has two bones running through it - a long bone and a short bone. Instead of trying to get the meat out from in between the bones using your tongue, etc., simply remove the shorter bone from the wing before eating it. Now you just have a giant bite of crispy skin and meat that you can tear into  .

When taking apart electronics for repairs or upgrades, trace the item on a piece of paper. Put double sided tape on the paper anywhere there is a screw on the electronic, and when you remove a screw put it on the correct piece of tape.
When you go to reassemble, each screw will go back into the exact same hole it came from. And you won't lose any screws. |

OP is looking for Arfcom lifehacks. Here are a few I've learned through the years:
Avoid tragic accidents by leaving your firearms ashore when boating. Chocolate chip cookies make a great snack for a quick energy boost, while showering. Dresser drawers can be used to secure unruly waterfowl during close encounters For that battle worn look, throw your weapon down the driveway And here's one from another place, and another time: Defeat those pesky mall rats by duct taping extra ceramic plates to your chest, then lie down and absorb incoming fire while your partner assembles their .300 WM NEF single-shot rifle hidden in his briefcase. |
