The left knows no national boundaries. Communism and socialism (just varying degrees of the same philosophy of madness and evil) are a cancer that spreads throughout the world. Those who are infected have no problem with exterminating their own countrymen, because to them nationality means nothing; you're either a red like them, or you're an obstacle to be disposed of by any means necessary so they can have the place all to themselves. They will happily enslave you to sustain their insane, twisted system of economics and government, and if you refuse to be their slave then they will exterminate you like vermin. They don't care. They only pretend to be sympathetic to everyone's plight so long as it gets them something; as soon as they think they can get away with doing whatever they want, as soon as they think they have all the power, the mask comes off and they reveal their true nature.

I just don't understand it. Perhaps it's more difficult for me to wrap my head around this because of the following?..... I am a naturalized citizen of the US. I was born in the Rep of Ireland (one of the few European countries to also have a ‘Constitution’. I have never been on American soil without a legal valid visa! The naturalization ceremony at the courthouse was one of the proudest days of my life. I was one of two who requested to 'say a few words'. The first was a woman who started crying and kept babbling something about Canada?????? (I didn't get it – at the time I was thinking if Canada is so great then what are you doing here?) I told the story of first time the Stars and Stripes was not 'bowed' to the head of state during the Olympics opening ceremony in England (and hasn't since!). My point is, if I didn't think the US was the best place to live on the planet, then I would fuck off back to Ireland or some other country and I would expect to hear true Americans shout 'don't let the door hit your ass on the way out'. When I moved to the US, I learned the language. OK, so I already spoke English, but there were some things I had to learn: - car bonnet = car hood - car boot = car trunk - tap = faucet - fag = homosexual (not a cigarette) - shopping trolley = shopping cart - footpath = sidewalk - fanny = butt (not the opposite side) - lift = elevator - lorry = semi - truck = pick up truck (e.g. Toyota Tundra) NOT a semi - rubber = eraser - biro = a disposable ballpoint pen and that's before we start on colloquialisms and slang! It never entered into my head that everyone else should have to learn my way of saying things or that signs with the above examples should have both versions. When Discovercard gave me the choice of having the US flag or the Irish flag on my card, I chose the US flag. If the US ends up playing Republic of Ireland in the World Cup next year, I'll be watching the game wearing my US soccer shirt and hoping that I get to phone home after the game and gloat. I was given the choice so I've picked my side and that's where my loyalties now lay. I don't hate Ireland, I just like the US better. I'm all for freedom of speech but obviously people don't realize that with that freedom comes responsibility. I think someone holding up a sign like that is looking for trouble and they better not bitch and whine if someone rips it away from them and tears it up, or if someone sprays him in the face with OC or if someone knocks him out cold with a high kick to the side of the head! So am I missing something here? If so, please explain. And to answer the other poster....
