Half or better of the members here don't know how to properly use a dollar sign. Just as many insist on incorrectly using "of" in place of "have" in a sentence.
What does that tell you about the intelligence level of the members? I have a theory that Arfcom is full of basement dwellers because they lack the cognitive faculties to climb stairs. |

I think that when one factors in the
aggregation of exchanges that are facilitated by this esoteric forum we call Arfcom, one can only conclude, assuming the use of a rational basis of analysis, that the inter-changes are reflective of a plethora of cognitive abilities. However, if we were to redact the outliers on the two extremities of causation, we would, as a whole, be left with a slightly higher median when a comparative analysis is relegated against a random distribution of the general population as a whole. |

GD is just a cross section of the nation as a whole, some smart, some stupid, and a large majority in the middle.
Though we have a small amount of people who are well educated and have a knowledge base to dwarf most of us. A good portion are neither gifted nor stupid, they simply know the trade or craft they use to get thru life and take in as much else as they can along the way to better themselves. At least I like to think they do, but if you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree it will go it's whole life believing it is stupid. However, given the fact that most conservatives are generally more motivated in life than the general population I tend to believe that forums such as this are a little bit ahead of the curve as a whole. As far as I stand, I consider myself average. |
