I was in a documentary called "B-17 Flying Fortress: A Tribute" when I was 17. I played the right waist gunner. My big death scene ended up on the cutting room floor.

I was an extra (they called us background artists) in "Gettysburg". I'm in two scenes. The first is where the Confederate troops cheer and surround General Lee (Martin Sheen) and the second is where Pickett's Division is crossing the fences on the Emmitsburg Pike. I got to meet Martin Sheen (General Lee), Richard Jordan (General Armisted), Steven Lang (General Pickett) and Tom Beringer (General Longstreet). They were all regular guys and very friendly.

I've been in the news a few times (only in the background), as for movies, nothing major that anyone on arfcom would know about.

In news clips twice. Once in a NBC story about companies downsizing and in the background after a police hostage standoff.  In the NBC story they were filming in the call center where I was working and I was on screen as I worked for about 20 seconds. I never knew I was on screen till several weeks later.  If you can lip read you will see me say WTF to myself as I was reacting to something on my computer screen.

Does being in the crowds at a pro football game count?

Contestant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" back in 2001 when Regis Philbin was hosting. I never got past the "Fast Finger" round.  Free trip to NYC though.

I also did a lot of free-lance camera work back in the 90's.  I shot a monster truck show that aired on ESPN so I have some video of me scrambling around in the dirt with a handheld camera trying to get a shot of Bigfoot at the starting line.  That truck was so loud it felt like the bones in my skull were rattling.

I was thrown through a movie screen once. Does that count as being on the "silver screen"?
No, not really. But it sounded good.

I was ticketed for disorderly conduct while playing paintball in college.  Cop saw me shoot and didn't see any other 'weapons'.  He said he thought I just murdered someone.  Not a good day.  Makes for a funny story now

I was an extra in , In The Line of Fire, with Clint!!. I was only in elementary school at the time and never got on screen but, my dad, my elementary school principle, and spanish teacher were behind John Malcovich in the scene where he is looking through the binoculars in D.C., unfortunately they were all cut out of the picture. I was just a member of the crowd. In between takes I folowed Clint around taking pictures, and even got one photo of him giving me a dirty look.

I was interviewed several times on television for various things from middle school on.  I've been quoted in several trade publications like Internet Week as well as some news sites like Wallstreet Journal, Business.com, MSNBC.com and Securityfocus.com.  I also used to do a weekly two hour call-in show, but gave that up a couple of years ago when I got married.

I've never been in a movie, but my friend played Woody in Rushmore.  He says Bill Murray is a hell of a guy to hang out with.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

extra in "thin red line"   i guess it was a little more than an extra because you can hear my voice in the back ground, but it wasnt a direct speaking role.

I've been on camera as an extra a couple times for foreign films. I used to work as a stills unit photographer and have been on plenty of sets. I also did some photography for the Adult Film Industry back in the late 80's. (Its very wierd watching other people fuck while your taking pix of it) If you have ever watching any of the award shows or movie premiere's you probably saw me on the red carpet with a camera stuck to my face.
I don't do any of that stuff anymore since I met my wife.

My graduating class from military school went to myrtle beach summer of '87; they were filming "Shag" and we were all hired on as extras since we were the only ones with short '50's style haircuts in town.

You are taking this star wars thing too seriously.  We are gonna have your ass deprogramed if you keep it up.

I can't be deprogramed.  There are no other programs running, just Star Wars.

Yes:

"The Babylon Connection."

I played the main antagonist (evil scientist/anti-christ type) character in this movie short (54min) that was distributed in the southeast.

While in the State House, I made the new (print, radio, television) on numerous occasions.

I've been in the newspapers many times, the tv news 3 times and in one movie.
The movie was a "B" horror flick called "THE PIT". It was filmed in my hometown in WI.

I was an extra in the birthday party scene. It was a blast...we wound up having a food fight with cake and orange drink. The main focus of the movie was shot two blocks from my house.

When I was a kid I got called out of the audience to be Mark Wilson's on-stage (and TV) "assistant" during a magic trick.

Got to see myself in a general "fill shot" on my old Harley.

Was an extra and got dumped on the cutting-room floor even before the movie got dumped.
