Speaking of belt feds... JD, The Fight Lite Raptor upper is just a little snug with a AZR-MBT installed in it necessitating hitting the rear take down pin with a rubber mallet to get it to close. Any thoughts on what surface might be getting in the way that can be relieved? I can get some pictures up later today. ETA.... She runs like a champ, its just that the upper and lower halves dont quite close all the way necessitating the hammer for the rear take down pin. Attached File Attached File |

The gap to close receiver will be fairly large. Slowly work your way removing material from tip of lower cam leg until receiver closes. Then go to the Setup Method 2 process and finish getting your gun functioning smoothly. This is Manual M2 setup the old school way but its an MBT note ( ETA 07-22-25 **REDACTED** Means any trigger you may decide to try with our new AZR-15M2-R unit configuration. We will no longer name other triggers unless the manufacturer submits a letter to use asking us to name thier trigger(s) as we have received a Cease and Desist from one trigger manufacturer. Many brand triggers out on the market may fall within this **REDACTED** parameter which means triggers that have a disconnector that will push down into the trigger bar which is the condition which makes this a factory Pre Set 100% Drop In as stated herin. You can modify the top of a Mil-Spec Disconnector to use with this unit so the disconnector pushes down into the trigger bar if you want to set up and be able remove the unit and shoot normally whenever you like. ) |

I just ordered one. Looking forward to trying it out! ETA- I think I fucked up my order. I was in a hurry and didn’t make a selection - mil spec/MBT/SSA. Order #10014 Just send me whatever lol. I have all of these triggers. *if I could still pick one, I’d take a SSA or Mil-Spec preferably. Sorry and thank you! |

This is Manual M2 setup the old school way but its an MBT note A few swipes with a file on the "top" skirt of the AZR allowed the two halves to close normally. I have no doubt that the AZR would continue to work perfectly in other rifles set up with MBT triggers but this just gives me an excuse to buy a second one and leave this one dedicated to the Fight Lite. Its not like you want to shoot a belt fed in semi / non forced reset mode that much anyway. Order for another AZR-MBT inbound when you get some back in stock. |

@01zulu I got my mil spec version installed on a new PSA 556 pistol. The AZR15 was really tight in the upper pocket. It has to be tapped into place with a rubber mallet, but it sits flush when installed. I trimmed the disconnector so that it is flush with trigger back. The gun passes the function test, but the bolt does have a noticeable tight spot when cycling the charging handle. It will bind if I’m not careful. I haven’t fired it yet, but I’m guessing I need to remove material from the lower leg of the AZR15? TIA |

So I have tried to put these in 4 different rifles. One has a very old SSA, I'm guessing 10-12 years maybe older. I get a dead trigger with it. When I pull the bolt back I can feel the forced reset but the trigger is won't drop the hammer. It's the same with a newer SSA and a G2S which I figured may not work The regulators I bought are AZR15, I ASSuME I need to file a couple thousandths off? I wanted to make sure before I started taking any material off |

File lower leg? |

I think you have to reprofile the disconnector itself. See post #5 on page 18. To me, the whole appeal was a drop-in device so I dremeled it down to work with my ALG ACT instead of modifying the disconnector. Couldn't get it to work with the SSA by filing any amount down. |

My SSA trigger is around 10 years old, not newer production, but the issue sounds like it’s the same with the dead trigger. |

Damn....I hope there will be a solution to run with the SSA. I'd hate to have to pull the triggers for a milspec every now and then when I wanted to have a little fun. |

See my post above. I Dremeled the disconnector because I didn’t want to file on the more expensive AZR-15. But there was way too much drag on the bolt. I put a standard disco back in and started filing on the AZR lower leg. After removing several thousandths of an inch I wasn’t getting any closer. Still had a dead trigger. Just for grins I put the shaved down disco back in. It now passes the function test and the bolt cycles smoothly. I will test fire it, but if it works I’m going back to a standard disco and remove material from the leg until it works. Based on what I’ve done so far, I’m guessing you would need to remove nearly 1/4” from the leg to get it to work with a mil spec trigger. That’s a lot of filing. I only plan on using it in an AR pistol but since both my ARs have mil spec triggers, it makes sense to make the AZR work in either. |

I don't know exactly how much I removed from the bottom leg but it was a lot, which is why I ended up using a Dremel. Maybe you'll have better luck but it still doesn't work with my SSA. The trigger locks up even though there's a lot of play when it's dead. |

Its a little over .060 to use an original AZR-15 and make your own M2 at home Thats how we used to do it before I released the factory preset M2 line Instructions help, also printed and inside the package we ship. |

OP I've seen you post multiple times the same instructions over and over again Might I suggest editing the first post and include videos and instructions along with links? It'll save you time in the long run to reply with "see first post" My 2 cents Hoping this weekend to really put some rounds through my M2 and see what she can do!! |

Finally got together on the range with my friend who bought an M2. Naturally he didn’t follow directions and didn’t bother removing the disco spring to function check his mil spec trigger group. It felt like it was working dry. Once installed he initially got a dead trigger after the first shot. I remembered he used one of those Joe Bob grip screws to remove take up by lifting the trigger tail to just clear the safety when at rest. Once we swapped back to a normal grip screw to get full range of trigger motion the unit ran fine. Doubles and longer bursts were easy. Singles were a little harder to deliberately achieve every time. Unit ran with either carbine gas 16” and 14.5” with both 3 ounce Carbine buffer and 5.4 oz H3 buffer. 3 different shooters of skill level from new to the AR to decades of experience adapted quickly to the trigger function. Unit seems well built and practical. |

Put down 500 rounds tonight. Suppressed/unsuppressed it runs! JP trigger (the old style if you can find) H2 buffer No mods to trigger/disconnect/device H&R IDF special. 12.5 barrel, surefire hider and surefire mini suppressor. It’s FAST, fun, works 100% but I feel that’s due to working the adjustments on the JP to my favor. I will probably pull it apart and see if it’s damaging the surfaces. A buddy had one on his MK18 clone with colt upper and H3 mil spec FCG. It sounds to be a smidge slower. |
| As much as a three position unit would seem desireable, the whole point of the Arizona Regulator is to have a drop in unit with no tools or mods. Really how hard is it to pull the rear takedown pin and pull it out? There are other products out there that have three positions but requires tools and time to install and remove. But the AZR is something you can pop out in five seconds and yeet elsewhere. I see some value in that. |

As it stands the existing AZ Regulator is a very useful implementation. But it sounded like the 3-position would also be drop in but use a different selector. Looking forward to seeing the innovation. |
| Sorry I wasn’t clear, I have not filed on the disconnector only the leg on the AZR, I’ve reach .0030 and I don’t want to remove anymore material. Another member posted he had to reprofile his disconnector on his SSA to make it work. I wanted to verify that I have the correct disconnector before attempting to reprofile it. I’ll try to post a pic of what the other member mentioned. |
