I'm just pointing out that if you consider the fact that some neighborhoods appreciate while others DEpreciate in value, we pretty much are looking at an apples to apples comparison when your town announces "full value" taxation, no? I mean, MY taxes went up. I'm guessing the other side of town (with the decrease per $1000 tax) stayed stable since their homes did not appreciate as much as mine did.
