Juliana Nehme, 38, accused the airline of discriminating against her due to her size, saying that she was stopped from boarding a flight because she was too 'fat' for her seat.
Outlining its policy, Qatar Airways said any passenger 'who impedes upon the space of a fellow traveller and cannot secure their seatbelt or lower their armrests may be required to purchase an additional seat both as a safety precaution and for the comfort and safety of all passengers.' Click To View Spoiler The airline said, 'the passenger in question at Beirut Airport was initially extremely rude and aggressive to check-in staff staff when one of her travelling party did not produce required PCR documentation for entry to Brazil,' an airline spokesman said. 'As a result, airport security was requested to intervene as staff and passengers were extremely concerned with her behaviour.' |

This can't be something she didn't foresee happening when she booked the ticket. It's not like she turned into a blimp overnight.
Airports have those carry on measuring devices you can try your carry on bag in to see if it will fit. They should have the same for fatties to save them the embarrassment. |

Holy mother of fat. Think she would need her own row of seats.

Yes she is like 500+ She has not seen 300 in a decade most likely.

How do those bathe? She'd have to walk through an automated car wash to reach everything.
To be that fat, and be indignant? |

I'm a fat, varying between 310 and 320lbs throughout the year.
I also fly often for work, multiple times a quarter. How it goes depends on the plane. For the latest Boeing 800s and Maxes, I don't need a seat belt extender but I'm at the end of the belt. For 700s and prior, I'll need one. I don't fly Airbus often enough to remember the planes I do or don't need one. A woman, normally 6+" shorter than me, who still weighs 300+lbs, is definitely going to need one on every flight. Kharn |

Imagine being so self center. This lardass has no sympathy for the poor bastard(s) that have to sit next to her.

+ my ASS!!! That's +++. And can someone explain what kind of "model" that is? Sorry honey but if you can't fit in the seat you can't FIT in the seat .

That huge bitch is 450-500lbs. She needs to get a scale used for livestock and doesn't have a limiting pin for the needle at 300lbs. Kharn |

Yeah... uhh... like what happened to Sydney Watson, sandwiched between a couple whales.
I'd be pissed, too. I paid for my seat and the space that it occupies. If people can't stay within the boundaries of their seats, they should have to pay more. Not sorry. |

-Carry all my extra weight
-Give me all that extra space I need -Let me demean and insult you -Let me attempt to "cancel" you and destroy your business -Oh and BTW don't charge me a cent over everyone else |

I’d bet just one leg is coming in around 100. No way she’s close to 300.

Model? LOL she looks like any trailer trash welfare Queen around here

They have the carry on dimensions all over their terms and conditions, on the check in screen and in practice bins at the airport. Just add waist size to that list. Either use a tape measure or refit the body scanners to report waist size.

I witnessed two amusement park workers trying to get a rollercoaster seat to lock on a fat chick last month. They were doing the old 1,2,3.. push! They could not get it to lock after multiple tries. They had to ask her to leave. I felt bad for her boyfriend for multiple reasons. He looked more ashamed than her.

When I think vacation Lebanon does not make the list of places that I ever voluntarily want to spend time and money.
If she cannot afford the $3,000 for a first class seat then the modeling and influencing career is not going well. Not sure what is going on with her knee but to me it says diabetes with a side of dirty sores and candidate for amputation in her future. Attached File |

She’s entitled-
Entitled to another helping those mashed potatoes and gravy! |

Build your own airline.
Now it's stuck in my head. Window couch, aisle, middle couch, aisle, window couch. Should be profitable right? |
|
Every time I board the flight first and sit down in between a couple of empty seats I watch the passengers file in and pray that the fat ones don't take a seat by me
