Is that quarry the one near the Bull Run shotgun range?

There's not much in your photos familiar to me where I live (real close to Fairfax city), but that looks pretty familiar.

And what's that building towards the end of your series?

ETA: yeah, FCPS is out today, which means not only can I relax today, but I have another 2 days to do that essay on the cold war I've been putting off...

Yes it is

Centreville United Methodist Church
I sing in the choir there.  I was the only Bass to show up, and only one Tenor showed up.
So what was supposed to be the Tenor/Bass part of Be Thou My Vision turned into a duet.  We did pretty well considering we never practiced it that way.

WTH - the roads look clear and wet.  What's the big deal??

It s not a big deal.  At no point have I complained about the snow except that I have complained that we did not get more.

This thread is about nice pictures.  Not southerners afraid of snow.  And NOVA is not the south anyway.

Uhh, Yes it is.

I went to Avila Beach which is in San Luis Obispo County California.  Sorry no pictures.  I got a mild sunburn.  It was about 75 degrees.  There were lots of college cuties.  Oh yeah the snow looks nice.

Those pics have got to be 29 through Bull Run- only open undeveloped place in NOVA

What are Ya? A Yankee? Dems the Manassas Battlefield. Only the north called it Bull Run.

Actually it's both.

Some of the pics were taking in Manassas Battlefield Park and some were taken in Bull Run Park.

The Fed.Gov can call the park Bull Run State Park, be we Manassholeians call it Manassas Battlefield.

Your right Yankees named battles after nearby creeks.  Rebels named them after nearby towns.  I do half and half.  I refuse to call the Battle of Sharpsburg The Battle of Antietam
