In every redraft league I'm in - three of them - I made offers for Saquon when he got injured. In one of those leagues I was countered Saquon for Cooks. I couldn't accept fast enough. I know at least one owner voted against the trade. The trade was approved. Now it looks like the early reports of 4-8 weeks were inaccurate and I may have stolen the league. I have McCaffrey already.

Some guys hoard QB. Other TE and once in a while someone collects DST.
But the real sucker is the one that finishes the season with 2/3 of their FAAB still in the bank. |

One team is 5-2. All of the others are 4-3 or 3-4. It looks like some things never change - these ARFcom leagues were always real competitive. |

This site is making me CRAZY. Maybe I don't understand our league add/drop rules. ALL I WANT TO DO IS DROP A PLAYER AND ADD A KICKER. (My kicker is on BYE this week.) I go to 'PLAYERS'...'ADD PLAYERS'. It pulls up a list of free agents. I click on the player I want to add. It takes me to a stat page. NOWHERE ON THE PAGE (or anywhere else I can find) DOES IT GIVE ME AN OPTION TO ADD THE PLAYER. AAARRRGGGHHH! |

QBs rarely deliver the kind of position point differential it takes to justify the pick.
As far as I can tell, most leagues are won and lost in the middle rounds. Most top-50 guys will deliver >80% of expectation if they don't get hurt. SIDEBAR: injury is the great equalizer. You can't predict them at all. When it comes to injury, shit happens. I won an ARFcom league one year when I took DeAngelo Williams in like the 7th. He went off, especially in the late part of the season. I think that was Brees' career best season too. |
