 A book about a Child officer training facility located in Outerspace.  The training consists of the kids forming armies and playing lasertag wars to hone their leadership skills.

Hunter/Killer Squadron-Matthew Brennen
 A collection of short stories from soilders in the 1st cav air assault.  Set in Vietnam.

Another vote for Unintended Consequences. I have loaned it to guys who haven't read a book since high school and stayed on 'em for 6 months to read it. When they finally do, they call to talk about it, full of excitement. I have bought 5 copies because they make great gifts! It is a gun guys dream book in my opinion. There are web sights dedicated to this book.

Another vote for: Patriots, surviving the coming collapse. What a good book packed with info. It seems like everyone in the AR 15.com survival section has read this one. Thanks guys for tipping me off.

Atlas shrugged:  Ayn could have made it shorter, but its worth the effort to read. She was a genius.

Alas Babylon: easy read, good post nuke war book.

Stephen Hunters books: outstanding books that will be right up a gun guys alley. I have lost weekends that I had important stuff to do to these books. You can't put em down. They mostly are about a war hero sniper named Earl
Swagger. The writer is so popular that fans have web sights in his honor. "Pale Horse Coming" is one, "Dirty White Boys" and "Hot Springs".

Killing Pablo-The hunt for the world's greatest outlaw by Mark Bowden.  
Awesome book about Pablo Escobar.  I saw a documentary on Discovery channel, "True story of Killing Pablo" then had to get the book.  Great read, on par with "Blackhawk Down", just not as many M4s and M14s.

Starship Troopers by Heinlein is also a great book.  The movie did it no justice.  Dizzy was super hot in the movie though.
