Especially since I have seen a lot of bumper stickers in the desert and they are more sun-bleached white than tan or brown. |

Ok here it is installed in the stock with the weathered stickers. I had to order extra long action screws and grind them to fit so that took some time. Most of the external wiring, bands, and tape is going on today. I also have two metal mags now that I will buff up some to make them fit the Magpul magwell better.

Here are the mags I got. They are made by alpha industries. Hold 7 rnds. Well made mags. But too tight in the Magpul magwell. I plan on sanding them down some to fit. Then apply some electrical tape or something similar to make it look more fallout-ish.

Sand down the mag well instead? Weathered the mags and they both insert/eject/feed easily, but don't drop free. Which I am ok with because there is 0 wobble or movement at all. Unlike the Magpul mag which wobbled like a bad AK mag out of the box. Hitting the stock with clear coat today. Not sure what kind yet. I have a lot of options. I could use Varathane brand oil-based or water-based polyurethane, I have tons of it. I could use boiled linseed oil or tru-oil, got tons of that too. Anyone have input????? |

They sold the shit out of those things yet you never see them on the secondary market  I've never looked into building a Sterling but a sten is super easy
