Quoted: I'm not sure I remember the Barons. Didn't they used to have the Pens farm team? The Lumberjacks or the Monsters? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Fun fact: Cleveland used to have a NHL team, the Barons. But like all things Cleveland, it was full of failure and suck. It is now the Dallas Stars. I'm not sure I remember the Barons. Didn't they used to have the Pens farm team? The Lumberjacks or the Monsters? The were only around for a couple years in the 70s. The only farm team I know is the Wheeling Nailers because I go down and see them a couple times a year. I always have a blast. |

When I was in college there was a ECHL team, the Huntington Blizzard, that used to run cheap tickets in the school newspaper. Tickets were like 2 bucks with the coupon and Marshall ID. So we'd start at one end of 3rd Avenue mostly sober, catch the game, then hit the bars, then at closing time hit Taco Bell. Not bad for like ten bucks. |

Fun fact: I buy Wal-Mart Great Value American "Cheese" Product to put my dogs' pills in. One get Xanax, but both of them get a Famotidine because they get horrid reflux and if I don't keep it in control their burps and farts will kill us all. |

He was sold for 60,000 dollars. My house is worth 150,000 dollars. My crappy 1950s house is worth 2 1/2 times a Pirates player. It doesn't have a dishwasher or a fireplace or a pool or even a level yard (aside from a little back yard. The front and side yard both slope downwards) and is still worth 250% of a Bucco. He was worth a mere double what I paid for my Jeep Compass when I bought it brand new in 2012. Steinbrenner the Younger has 60 grand in loose change in his couch cushions. At least 60 grand. |

I propose replacing the term "on the DL/IL/whatever" with "Yankeed" Example: "Johnson took a fastball to the grape. He's going to be Yankeed for at least ten days under the MLB's Concussion Protocol." And before you try to come up with a retort, let me remind you that the NL Wild Card Game will forever be known as the Clint Hurdle Invitational. |
