This is a rare genuine Colt “OD green” anodized (Colt O.D. green tanodized) 4-position mil-spec diameter carbine receiver extension/buffer tube.  The receiver extension has the factory Colt grey dry film lube coating on the inside.  It is actually in new condition having never been used, installed, or had a stock slide on, but does have some minor marks (as pictured) from storage with other parts since purchased.  These genuine Colt “OD green” receiver extensions were a special contract production run by Colt which are now discontinued and can be difficult along with expensive to find so you have to buy them when you see them!  If you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Thank you for viewing!!
