Chinese transitional 30-round magazines. These are the design that falls somewhere between the Sino-Soviet and the beginning of the evolution of the familiar 'flatback' magazine. As can be seen in the photos, they have the two bars along the bottom of the magazine body, but also have the Combloc-style spine ridge. All five have the correct stepped follower, and 4 of the 5 have floorplates marked "MADE IN CHINA". There are spots of pitting on the sides of 3 of the mags, primarily on the machined flats below the feed-lips; it's my belief that these spent a long time in a chest pouch, and that the pitting was the result of sweat soaking through the canvas. The five-slot pouch has no side pockets (never had), and is clearly marked on the underside of the flap, and although the cloth is in good condition, it does show age. The whole package is best described as being in "veteran" condition.
