I am curious about whether a place is set aside for checking your rifle at various ranges at matches you have attended.

We are trying to attract some new 3 gun shooters and I want to get steel out at 200 yards.  I keep hearing "I don't know where my rifle shoots at 200".

I am amazed to find some folks don't know where their rifle shoots past 100 yards.

Typically, yes. Any match at The Rock in KY (Pro Am, Blueridge, etc.) has one set aside. I believe the furthest target was 350ish, but they just redid the site in area and have the capability of 600ish if I'm recalling their FB post correctly. GenIII, Nordic/vortex tri gun do as well IIRC.

ETA: Whether someone is zeroed at 50 or 100 their point of aim should still be on the target. Make it a 10" plate or larger and there shouldn't be any issues.
