Noticed 2 thing recently and I am sure others have noticed this before but thought I would bring them up.

Aimpoint: my M4S never completely turns off. When the dial is all the way down I can still see a faint dot with my NVGs. Don't really care since battery life is a gazillion hours.

NVGs: I was out walking the other night and a car came along. I turned off my nods and actually kept looking through them and I could see the glow of the car passing in the nvgs. No it wasn't a glare but more a pin point light. I thought that shit was weird. It did eventually fade as if some capacitors discharged. Anyone notice this or know what I saw? Aliens?

My 1st gen cascade tube stays fully lit for about 5 minutes after turning it off.  I have to be careful to make sure the lens is capped after turning it off before turning on the lights.

Aimpoint yes, I like to read an remember reading it somewhere in the user info.

Tube, I don’t know, maybe someone smarter than me can answer. Maybe lingering electrons or light energy due to the system discharge rate after power off?
