I have done forms on the past and just recently sent out a form 4 . on the fingerprint card the ORI was different on ones I did in the past it was printed with the atlanta GA  info
my question is now I will be doing a form 1 and found some older cards I had but they are printed with the Martinsburg WV info

does it mater on using the old cards or should I try and get some new ones

thanks

The ORI should have the 0800 number and Martinsburg, WV.

Well maybe I was mistaken but I swear the ori on the cards I submitted said Atlanta on them could be wrong all the cards my dealer has are the WV ori
Guess I will see in 8-12 months if there is an issue

ETA are ther actually cards that do have a Atlanta ori

I’m thinking they gave me ffl cards could be wrong and they said they only have the WV ones
We shall see i think they will sticker over it if it’s wrong as long as it is the fd-258 card which it
Was

My Sheriff's Office can't put the ATF ORI code on their cards, theirs come with their (Sheriff) ORI preprinted on them

Edited, I see my link was for explosives.

Im on my first submission and I got my cards from the LE the printed me.  The ORI was blank so I am trying to figure out what to use since their website says different than what people have done historically.  I do have a question about the cards.  The cards the guy gave me are FD-258 (Rev 5-15-17 1110-0046) and have black lines and text (except the FD and rev info).  Anyone know why that is and if I will have problems?

I got some cards from the ATF website about three months back. They're white with light blue lines/printing. FD-258 (Rev. 9-9-13 1110-0046). The ORI block looks like this (the fuzzy text is what was pre-printed when I got them):

Ordered some FP cards a couple weeks ago mid-shutdown.

Just got them, should be even faster with .Gov back open.

You have to white out the local PD ORI information and replace it with the ATF ORI info posted here. When those cards are processed the results of the FBI check are returned to whoever is listed as the ORI. Your local sheriff will get the response and trash it. You need ATF to get the clear response so your application can proceed.

ORI for ATF title 2 stuff is the 0800.   Different ORI is used for FFL applications, 1100 possibly.   Been a while since I had those cards so I may be wrong.  ATF has several ORIs depending on the intended use of the card.

The local department has blank 258 cards. Can I just hand write the FBI ORI?

You want to put the ATF 0800 ORI info on the cards. Not the FBI ORI info.
