Got my first eForm 1 SBR approval last night. 29 days - hopefully an indicator that things are speeding up? This was through a trust, btw.
The 10.5” 5.56 upper has been great (suppressed), but I honestly might enjoy the Bear Creek Arsenal .22 10.5” upper more. 500 rounds with no malfunctions. Looking to run at my local .22 steel matches.

I was surprised too. 10/28 to today 11/22 for a Form 1 sbr. Hope they stay this quick! |

My first form 1 was approved in 35 days. Submitted one on the 12/2 so we will see how fast this one will be or not be.

I had one come back recently at 19 days. Quickest I've seen reported is 15 days.

 Attached File Attached File Attached FileMy 2 previous form1 sbrs came back in 14 days. the most recent that was 18 days but that’s was probably due to the fact that they had to verify the SN since it was a new model from the mfg and wasn’t in the drop down menu. Just filed one this morning with electronic finger prints to see if that is any faster or shorter. All filed under a trust with 1 RP |

Obviously a dumb question, based on the post so far.
When did Form 1 SBR start taking so long? Was it during the pistol brace fiasco? I just submitted my second yesterday, but 18 months ago, me and four my buddies all got ours approved in 10 days or so, mine was actually 8 days. Side note, I’m worried my 2nd app might get rejected. Box 3D is where you put in a county, my form yesterday wouldn’t let me enter a county. The county shows on my profile correctly on the eForm sight, so I was at a loss. My app 18 months ago has the county on it, this time it was blocked from selecting or entering one. Immediately after submitting I sent a message to them with my app id and alerting them to the problem. I’m also gonna call my ATF office tomorrow morning and ask them if there’s anything I can do. Not sure what else to do… |

Beginner’s luck. SBR form 1 submitted 12/1/23 approved today (14 days). Now to get some parts to finish an 11.5” upper.
SS kiosk, single shot trust. AFT offical: Brian Martin Waiting for my first suppressor (Cat's Ass) to get transferred to the dealer to submit my first form 4. Maybe checking the status 3 times a day helped?  |

Sent in travel papers for next year a few weeks ago. Got an email asking about a couple of items(encrypted) from a "CONTRACTOR". Speculating here that they have hired contractors to help with the workload.

I’m actually surprised mine came back as fast as it did without issues because it was my first item on a new trust, and I didn’t fill out the “additional description” field 4.h. Apparently this section doesn’t really matter for the examiner.

Submitted 11.1.23 individual to SBR my 15-22. Figured there was a big problem as I’ve never waited more than two weeks. Called the ATF last week and she told me I was approved on 11.11.23. Logged into my account and sure thing there it was. Lesson learned to check my account periodically as the ATF emails sometimes don’t come through.

Fastest one for me so far, filed on 12/27 and approved today...so 8 business days.
Individual, e-file, MKE AP5 Filed one for my Zastava M85 yesterday and Galil Ace 13" this morning...hoping they glide through the bureaucratic bowels as easily. |

I just submitted one Sunday. Mailed prints yesterday.
First one a few years ago was 11 days. Another a couple years ago was 17. Hopefully this latest one will be quick. I have one more to do after that. |

Latest approval. 12 days from filing, 7 days since print cards received. This is my 6th eform 1
They have ranged pretty widely in approval times: 1st: 6 days after prints received 2nd: 52 days 3rd: 53 days 4th: 33 days 5th: 29 days 6th: 7 days
