I picked one of these up a few months ago because I wanted to try carrying a fixed blade EDC, and my work has a legal >2" blade rule. I immediately hated it. Sheath is entirely too tight and the handle was too small to do anything with. Sat annoyed at the $60 purchase for a while. Carried my protech with full size handle and 2" blade exclusively since.

This week I spent $20 for scales from Esee and it's made a huge difference! I feel like the knife would actually be usable with this size grip. Problem is, I still hate the sheath

Assuming I want to carry this thing at least semi-discreetly, so horizontal belt is out, how are you carrying small fixed blades? Pocket? Leather IWB?

I'm tempted to spend money on a custom sheath but I'm afraid I may be throwing good money after bad at some point.

Armatus makes good sheaths for it

I’m an ESEE fan but the smallest I go is Izula 2. For horizontal I buy those leather loops with snaps you can get on eBay for $20 or buy some long pull the dot loops.
