First off, I like afg's & vfg's ('chicken-choke' when using vfg's) so my optimal X95 WML would incorporate one or the other.

I currently use the Olight Sigurd combo afg/wml (see photo). Produces 1,435 lumens/14k candelas at max (but only for a couple of minutes, then it scales down output to 480 lumens) or 290 lumens at low.
Fits the X95 like it was made for it, no fear of accidental activation and it's comfortable to use when shooting. Another plus is the 6 o'clock location so no 3 or 9 o'clock barrel shadow.
However, it's an Olight and I'm not yet convinced of it's long-term durability and its internal battery is not replaceable should it go out.

The option at the top of my possible Olight replacement list is the Streamlight RM2, perhaps mounted on the optic rail at 12 o'clock w/the pressure switch on the vfg (see photo of previous AR use).
Produces 1k lumens/10k candelas, so lower than the Olight output but it's constant for the entire runtime. I trust its durability over the Olight's, but am I making too much of an issue of it? Batteries on the Streamlight are easy to replace and it can take 16650's if I want rechargeables.
However, running the pressure switch on the vfg, although faster/easier to use than the Olight's switch, risks accidental activation unless the Streamlight is locked out.

So, X95 fans, I'm open to input on possible X95 wml setups. TIA!...

I went with an RM2 on the right side, pressure switch on the left.

Not sure how that would play with the afg.

I have a TLR-1 long gun kit on my SAR.  Works well for me, but I use a VFG as a hand stop.

Nice setup, thx for sharing!

The afg in my posted pic *is* my current wml as well (Olight Sigurd) but am looking at other options.
I would prefer an afg/vfg setup w/wml but am not wedded to the idea.
How's the bbl shadow from your setup?

Thanks.  The hot spot isn’t impacted.    I’ll get a pic.

That said…I’m not running a can.   I’m sure the shadow would be gnarly in that case.

I may try the same light at 12 o’clock if/when I go to a taller dot mount.

The RM2 sits so low I've already considered mounting one on the optic rail forward at 12 o'clock even if it does block deployment of the front BUIS.
That would place any bbl shadow at 6 o'clock.

Yeah, for sure.  Outside the shadow isn’t awful (to me), but it’s there.

I’m gonna go change it up, brb.

Nice!
How do you like that arrangement?

So far… the back button is too high to use comfortably.    I’ll go back to remote switch.   But I like the light at 12.   Taller mount helps.    It’s a MI mount.

Do you like that location for the tape switch? Quick/easy to access?

Yup.   My support thumb rests right there anyway.

How did you attach the tape switch to the handguard?

It had some 2 sided tape on the bottom.   I cleaned the rail with rubbing alcohol then slapped it on.

My setup is a bit unconventional.
Pressure switch on left side positioned not to interfere with charging handle. Light mounted right side, 2 o'clock.
The pic rail is mounted in the space left by the original 12 o'clock rail.

If you get the manticore handguard it's much more comfortable to run especially at 1200.

Interesting. Does muzzle blast affect the Streamlight in any way?
