A local guy is selling off a widows husbands guns. He has a Springfield Armory M1A standard that’s ~4 years old. Has less than 100 rounds thru it.  Has 2 20 round mags and a Nikon 3x12x40 scope in a SA mount. I’ve looked at the gun and there’s not a scratch on the wood.

I already have a Loaded edition so it’s not like I really need it but it seems that the asking price is good.

Asking $1000 for it all.

Thoughts?  I told him I’d let him know in a few days.

I always assumed it meant “forge on” since usually means definitely, yes but I never gave it any thought.

A long time ago a poster meant to say go but wrote fo instead. It stuck.
That's how I remember it.

Fo is do it. Fo is a common typo because the F and G keys are next to each other. So yes buy it and if you decide not to I’ll take it for that price. Yes fo.

Another common one here is “here toy go”. Meaning here you go.

Especially with the scope and mount included.

The rifle alone at that price is a decent deal.

You've been here since 2001 and you don't know what "fo" refers to?
