Ordered a .920 barrel for my rifle and was wondering if the low rings I have will allow a scope with a 40mm objective to clear the barrel.
Seems kind of stupid to have a $400 scope attached with the stock Ruger base and a cheap set of rings but was hoping to get by for now and get a better set down the road if need be.  . Gun isn't going to get banged around so I should be ok.

I use a low rings with a 44mm scope on a 920 barrel with plenty of clearance for caps.

Thanks. Wasn't planning on putting this gun together right now but primary arms had the Magpul stocks on sale so I ordered a barrel to finish the gun.
