I am NOT planning to carry it anywhere that would be illegal.

This is more to defeat wands at sporting events and such.

If it is void of metal then I'd imagine so.

Completely ceramic would accomplish the same goal as well.

As would a sharpened plastic toothbrush,

Titanium isn't suppose to have a magnetic signature either.

And no, I haven't tried to sneak anything past a metal detector.

It's shadow image on the body scanner would throw an alert, pepper your Angus.

Will be fine for wands. As long as it is 100% ceramic/cf some manufacturers will mold a little metal into the handle to circumvent this. Just do your research before buying.

Decades ago, I used to carry an A.G. Russell 'letter opener' in my tie when traveling in uniform.  It went through all the detectors just fine.  I still have it .... somewhere, I'm sure.  It wasn't much as far as being a blade but it was better than a poke in the eye.

I've heard that since that original they have started to include a bit of metal buried deep within the polycarbonate.  I suppose that if one truly desired to find out if some newer model did or didn't have any metal, one could purchase two and use one for destructive testing.

Put it by the nuts. They never touch the nuts.

No.

Titanium is questionable, it depends on how much. I have never tested it.

Getting caught with these in Non Permissable Environments means "no legal defense".

I have made quite a few, including swords. They cut fairly well, once.

400 grit wet/dry sandpaper and water work well to sharpen, the dust is very bad for you.
