I have always been curious which silencers sell the most frequently, least, how many off brands sell?  I imagine they won't tell, but curious if anyone has an idea.  Even how many each do sell?

No one will ever really know.

Texas headquartered Silencer shop is probably the #1 or 2 largest national distributor of silencers in the us, and as far as I know, their top two selling brands arent on your list.

Interesting.  Of course, Sico was separated from TSS until very recently, but what is the other brand?

Granted if the customers can forgive the financial problems, 3 recent waves of mass firings, loss of company founder and general obvious shaky signs at  utah based silencer co, they might be in the top 2 brands sold at silencer shop in 6 months. Or obviously on the flipside companies in that position have 2 directions to go and the other isnt a happy place.

I'm sure Silencer Shop not selling Silencerco helped you and everyone else sell more suppressors there.  As a consumer I hope that Silencerco can recover from the previous bad management.  What are Silencer Shops top two selling brands btw and could you go ahead and post up your sales numbers for us?

You could probably find out popularity by starting a who has the highest S/N thread. To my knowledge it seems most are chronologically serialized, i don't know if any use special secret code. You wouldn't have to post exactly, i.e my S/N is 00220's, so assumption is my suppressor model is only about the 220th built, of course that negate's what's on distribution shelves for who know's how long. (example only, and it might not be so good an idea for simple gratification of knowledge, other than knowing your buying a popular model or not)

Yep, my Surge is 2022 with a C in there for Capitol Armory which was bought mid 2016. My Razor and Oculus did not have a prefix for the dealer designation though.

So, that's when the Omega was introduced, though, correct?  Should be a statistical bump for that time frame.

Pretty sure the Omega retains the top sales numbers and will continue to do so until a competitor releases something that can rival its numbers.

Great thanks!

It will be interesting to see some 2017 numbers, especially Silencerco ones.

Late 2016 Omega 9k serial numbers are in the 6000s and early 2017: Hybrid S/Ns are in the 17000s, Warlock II in the 9000s and the last of the  Specwar762  in the 7000s.  If I recall the registry went from around 900,000 suppressors to about 1.3 million in 2016. I can't find where I'd read that but definitely a growth spurt.
