44 Magnum primed brass, $99 for 500.
https://www.cdvs.us/product/ammo-inc-44-mag-primed-brass-500-pack/ Just ordered some. Most places have 44 mag brass only for $.20 each. Figured that primed for the same price is a no-brainer. ETA - I ordered today and had UPS tracking info by this afternoon. So far so good! This is all sold now but I got the primed brass today. It was well packed and looks excellent. They seem to have a decent amount of other "de-milled" stuff and seem like a nice competitor for American Reloading. |

This seemed like such a good deal, I actually bought some.
My rationale - This type of low pricing on bullets eases the sting on the super-high primer prices. Powder Valley Seconds - $80 / 500 pcs: .224. 77 gr HPBT <-- 16 cents/bullet They have lots of other seconds on sale, too, if you check around. |

American Reloading has pulled 9mm Speer Gold Dot projectiles at a great price: 115/124 grain mix for 8.5 cents each shipped.
There's obviously some required time to separate by weight, but at that price it's time well-spent IMO. AR 9mm Pulled Gold Dots |

Originally Posted By Trollslayer: I bought them from Powder Valley just for the heck of it. Recent history teaches us to buy cheap when you can. They are 77 gr HPBT in .224 caliber. They are not specifically intended for matches but for general purpose 223 Rem use. Is there any way to discern the original maker? Does the base to ogive dimension allow me to discern who made them? How about base to tip? Length of boat tail? I will be loading some up using TAC and shooting them for group size. It will probably be at 100 yards on the first outing but maybe 200 or more, depending on phase of the moon. View Quote The part #9377 is the Sierra Matchking bullet. I'm guessing R stands for rejects, but at half the price, why not? These are sierra's and they will shoot well just like my factory first ones. Going to load some over the weekend and compare with my factory new bullet reloads. |

There is a small fraction that are tarnished (darker than normal) but appear otherwise fine.
The Hodgdon/Ramshot load data is surprisingly lower, almost a full grain lower, than for the 80 gr SMK and 75 gr Hornady HPBT-M. Maybe I will start 1-2 gr low and work up rather than just using my existing recipes. Still, if these shoot even half way decent (accuracy), I'd say it was money well spent. |

For 1/2 the price of factory new, I'll take it all day long. Heads up for more at Midway. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020767641?pid=967626 Ordered 600 more for good measure. Sadly I plan to use up the last of my 8208XBR powder for these, but it's worth it for a damn accurate load. |
