Tumbler weighed 7.2 kg before I removed some brass because the first tumbling didn’t seem to allow much tumbling.

You put way too much Lemishine in there. I use 1/4th of a tsp.

More will. Make it dull, which is what you're probably seeing.

EDIT, remember this is not a discussion thread. Post what you did in reloading today only. Want to respond to a post, send an IM. thanks dryflash3

Yeah that's what I figured.  I did a second batch with less Lemishime, and I assumed part of it was also less total brass so the stuff could tumble more.

Disassembled, cleaned and lubed the SDB. Not much dirt, but showed signs it was used for 9mm before I got hold of it.

Started resizing .223 brass and a BLH (Black Hills) crimped primer 5.56 snuck in there even though I checked all the brass before hand..

Buddy heard I bought a Swedish Mauser and gave me a NOS bag of brass he had from when he had one.  Took a little bit of the sting off of getting into a new caliber.

Loaded another 200rds of SPP .45acp.  I was five bullets short (home cast) luckily I had a handful of pulled FMJ stored away and was able to finish without five errant primers

After that I trimmed and removed crimps from about 80 aught-six cases and threw them in the tumbler.

Decided to get some of those “factory seconds” hard primers AR was selling.  If nothing else, I have an open bolt UZI that flat out crushes the primer, so no chance of it not setting it off, plus it goes thru the ammo….

Loaded some .41 Swiss (converted to cf)
Made from 8mm Lebel cases, fireformed.

I loaded 150 rounds of 6 Creedmoor. Those along with what I already had will be enough for tomorrow’s PRS match as well as next months.

Worked on brass prep of 300 .30-06; have to trim and cut the crimps on about half still.

Measuring a bunch of cases for length. Separating into piles of ‘trim’ and ‘don’t feel like trimming.

Setup the Dillon 223 die using a Lyman case gauge and a feeler gauge.  Should bump the shoulder back 0.003 +\- Dillon tolerances.

While doing al this I was wondering how frequently I’d need to chamfer and debur rounds. Solution was ‘when you trim them’ since firing the case shouldn’t remove the bevel, right?

Switched tumbler loads.

Started sizing home cast and coated 9mm bullets.

Loaded 100 with American Reloading factory second SPPs. Going to start a thread on those primers shortly.

Made some rounds. Might test them for velocity and OAL function later this week before making more.  New recipe I haven’t tried.  Should be fun.

Broke a pin on my Dillon messing with it too much.
I flipped the seating die. I might have had it on the wrong side. It seems to work just fine.

Nothing “light” about the rain here today!  Scheduled a load testing range day for Tuesday when it is supposed to let up though.

Inspected my AR SPP seconds today- look good so far.

Picked up a brick of CCI LPP at a show, along with a bunch of partial powder cans at $1 each, and a couple full powder cans at reasonable price.

Picked up some reasonably priced .22 LR as well, since I can’t reload those quite yet!

Loaded a ladder of WC872 surplus powder in 7.62x54R under a Lee 312185 coated and gas checked.

Loaded it at 50, 52, and 54 grains. 54 was a full case  with maybe minor compression.

Loaded up 50rds of .45acp over 5.7gr 231 under ac200gr swc and 20 rounds of .308 with some pull down powder from cdvs. Wish me luck with those.

Besides my .308 and 7mm mauser brass I've got primed I'm pretty much caught up to my shooting.

FW Arms Auto-Centering Decapping die (Mark 7 Label), I bought on Ebay, came today.  Glad I checked, I almost bought one for full price.  I also setup the 750 for my 55 gr load and got the PM adjusted and ready.  Then I remembered it's going to be close to 100 this weekend, so I won't be loading in the garage for a while.

Finished some brass cleaning and ruined the mailman’s day with 3k 124gr RMR and a long walk to the front porch.  But the wife and kids are out of town so I’m taking advantage before my kids soccer season starts back up and loading up a couple months 9mm this weekend.

This gets a bit long, but:

I had a reloading bench over at my old place for years. Around 2014 I let that end of things sit for a while...first due to a divorce, then some other life changes. A couple years ago my new lady and I bought a place which features a dedicated safe/reloading room. Took until a couple weeks ago to get the bench top over here but I had everything else staged and ready to go.

So...this past week saw me set everything up. New shelves and pegboard on one of the walls for all my reloading tools.

Presses are a Pro2000 auto-index and a T-7. Since the former was discontinued a while ago I've been chasing spares down.

Need to finish wiring up the bench's electrical distribution and I'll be ready to play the one-armed bandits again.

Got my order in from American Reloading. Had to take advantage when they were running 35% off projos.

I went with the 75/77 gr SMK HPBT pulled. I got a 1k of them and sorted out 1 box of 500.

Out of 500 I got 113 x 77 gr and 387 x 75 gr.

Tomorrow I'll sort out the other 500 and give them a quick wet tumble to shine them up.

The 75 gr weighed an average out of 10 bullets of 75.1 gr. The ES was .3 gr.

The 77 gr weighed an average out of 10 of 76.9 gr. The ES was also .3 gr.

Overall, pretty happy with the purchase. The bullets were in good shape and the weights are pretty consistent. Should make some good plinking ammo.

Bought another RCBS accessory plate for the left side of my bench. I may move the T7 to a more centralized spot (using holes where I had a bench vise mounted, if possible) and set the new plate up so I can put a Trim Pro 2 or another press on it as needed.

Also got a new belt ordered for my Thumler T-100. It was bought decades ago by my late mother for me as a Christmas gift - years before I got into reloading. Never tumbled the packet of rocks which came with it. The rocks and media were handed to a friend who actually was into lapidiary stuff and I put it to work on small runs of pistol brass.

Started looking for the model number for it online and saw the prices of new ones. Ho Lee Fook. And I have the big 15lb rotary for which I -think- I paid $120 new...
