Saw this at SHOT today - 150rd drum .22lr rifle, based on the American 180.

MSRP is expected to be $499.

That could be a lot of fun.

Wonder if you could do a mag dump without burning it up?

Needs to come with a factory binary trigger.

I remember reading about the Croatian made, short barreled, underfolder versions of these being used during the Balkans wars in the late 90s or so.  Perhaps I read about them in SoF Magazine, but can't quite recall.  I was indeed surprised to see that these were actually fielded in more than a recreational application.

Just looked this up and watched a video on the new gun. Looks like they made a change from the original design and the feed block that was once part of the gun is now part of the magazine, so original magazines won't work in the new one. Not a big deal really, unless you have an original and hoped to share magazines or pick up brand new magazines, or you know where to get originals cheap.

I'll be looking for these to show up.

They look a little rough, BUT, that's OK for me.

At $499.00 MSRP,  I will seriously consider getting one.

Looks like they use an AK's Buttstock & Pistol Grip (why invent something new, I guess)

Sounds like a lot of fun, especially if Franklin Armory can make a Binary Trigger for it.

Well, they have my interest. Price doesn't seem to bad either.
Dat magazine cap!

I like it. It looks a bit odd, but if it could be found at the right price I would definitely pick on up. Sucks original mags can't be used as I would love to try one of the 275 round magazines for one.

I remember seeing the video from shot on it but can't remember if it comes with a threaded barrel.

@cjk1
They were used alot more then just that war. Take a look at this forgotten weapons video. I don't know if this video covers or not since it's been so long, but if not I'll have to look for later. There was even an aircraft mounted version with four of them.

Is there a full auto version made in Croatia or anywhere?

Awesome! Thanks.

That's what I want.
So do I need to contact Grizzly Defense Industries for that version? I can legally import it myself, but I've never worked with an exporter before.
