Now that Texas has improved knife laws, I’ve got a Becker BK4 that has a short false edge on the front.  I’d like to make that a real edge but I don’t have a belt grinder and of course, I don’t want to spoil any heat treat.  Any suggestions?

I’ve got the super coarse diamond stones (50/80) for the Wicked Edge.  They’ll remove metal fast on an existing edge.  Not sure how long it would take to sharpen a false edge.
