I just ordered a 7" 308 silencer with one 5/8 brake and two 1/2 flash hiders. Are these flash hiders long enough to make 16" on a 14.5?

Thank you.

Math.  14.5 +1.5 = 16

Are you saying that the flash hider I’m asking about is 1.5 inches long?

Is it 1.5 inches when attached?

Remember that you are counting the threads that overlap.

Your math might be a bit shaky.

Math doesn't matter, just follow the link above and read the Features:
Long enough to bring a 14.5" to 16" when pinned

The Capitol Armory description explicitly states it will bring a 14.5 to 16” when pinned.

Do you have FATF Gestapo with a tape measure checking for papers at your local range?

AR barrel tenon math.

14.5 - .625 + 1.5  ? 16

A 14.5" AR barrel requires 2.125" worth of muzzle device and shim/washer to make 16".

This extended CB brake makes the cut, though.

Very, very excited to get my Ultra 7. So far I'm planning to have dedicated mounts for a 14.5" M4 type rifle, an 11.5", a precision heavy barreled 308 mauser, a 9 inch 300 blackout, my 20" 6.5 Grendel, and my 6.5 Swede deer hunting rifle. I will also keep a flash hider around to suppress any of my ARs or other guns I feel like quieting.

Question for anyone who owns one, how tight should you screw it onto the mount and be confident enough to blast a 30 round magazine without checking if it's coming loose? The threads are quite fine, so I suspect it doesn't take much torque. Thank you.

Just snug it down. No need to go gorilla on it.

Hand tight. No more needed.  I've not had mine loosen on 30cal or 5.56 rifles.

Agreed.  The taper portion of the mount and the back of the can will be more than sufficient with hand tight torque.

"About that tight".

Really, you need to create your own learning curve.
What's tight for some isn't that tight for others.  Make your own joke.
Check it before and after the first shot; then after every other shot or two.
This also has the benefit of showing you how soon you'll want a glove, depending on caliber.
In my experience, if it hasn't loosened after five to ten shots, it's probably going to stay put -for me.
If you're having noticeable trouble removing it, you're probably cranking too hard.
Mounting a very warm can on a very cold rifle can also make things impressively tight, after it's cooled.
Watch some of the TBAC videos of Ray testing the Ultras;  a light snugging twist, like he does.
