S&W Model 916A Riot Shotgun, made in the early 1970s. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File The S&W worked flawlessly. Cycled smoothly and without issue. These guns were hit or miss, either they worked flawlessly out of the box or they were garbage and didn't work worth a damn. Mine worked fine. |

Browning BSS in 12 Gauge. Attached File Attached File Attached File Unlike the damn coach guns all on the current market. The Browning has ejectors, no need to pluck out the hills myself. Also, the Browning is a bit special since both barrels are fixed improved cylinder. Most SxS shotguns with fixed chokes are modified on the left and full on the right. But not this one. Which means it is fantastic with 00 buck and slugs out of both barrels. |

I picked up a 835 around 2009 when you couldn't give one away. Haven't priced one recently, but even cheap shotguns aren't cheap anymore. $1k 940s?  , I thought they were overpriced at $599

I get it's not 2004 anymore but they can't be that costly to produce/market, they're mass produced in the US and relatively simple tools with modern mfg practices/facilities. I have the same opinion of AKMs, why they cost more than $400 is beyond me knowing how many are available and still being made(collector examples excluded). If you watch the GOA interview with the PSA owner I think he's onto something about people making insane money right now. That 500 setup is almost exactly what I use for a do-it-all gun, and I might be in it for $250 including accessories/sling/sight/etc. It's as close to a modern 97/12/1200 trench/riot as one can get and I like how light it is(can carry/work it all day) and how well it handles. |

So, I recently ordered a Benelli Nova Tactical H20 mariner and soon after, I decided to get another Nova Tactical. The basic model with GRS. So, I found a place that had 'em at an affordable price and with a $50 coupon, I paid $350 just like I did for the H20. Well, when my LGS called me letting me know the other Nova was in, I went to pick it up. Attached File The vendor sent me a brand new Nova 3 Tactical. But on their website, they used the older Nova Tactical photo. Benelli's new model that they just released. I wasn't planning on getting the Nova 3. But now that I have it, I'll do a review and compare it to the original Nova. |

Attached File Updated the Mossberg with a Hogue short LOP stock, Pro-porting and recutting the forcing cones. I shot a 870 that was fully rifled that was Pro-ported and it seemed to keep the kick down while shooting off a bench. If it works I will probably have the 870 done along with a Hogue short LOP stock. |

Was digging through my parts box and found my ancient Choate +4 extension for my 20ga 870s. I have a j-lock era Express Magnum 20ga with a removable chokes 21" barrel sitting in the back of my safe. So, now I have a 20ga HD shotgun. Attached File I got a 4rd TacStar side saddle on order for it. Current overall length is just short of a 20"Mossberg Maverick 88 Security Security. |

I picked this one up back in the early 70's when I was in high school. It's High Standard model K-120 riot gun. This was a police trade in from one of the larger agencies in my area. As I recall, I paid $60.00 for it. I had given it to my dad to use for home defense. It has a six round mag tube and a 2-3/4" chamber:  There are no agency markings on the gun, but the barrel is stamped "RIOT 18-7":
