Works pretty well. Sometimes it's hard to keep it in the action.

You close the bolt once it's in place.  The bolt holds it fairly well.

I have one but no longer use it.  I just flip the rifle over so the trigger guard is on top.  This keeps solvent out of the action and out of the gas system.

What I definitely do use is a muzzle protector and a Dewey one-piece cleaning rod.

Trigger group facing up, muzzle slanted down, and a 12 Ga shotgun case with the primer punched out and drilled to fit your cleaning rod for a rod guide.
