Anybody have one or used one?
After having elbow surgery and a bit of arthritis creeping in free handing a decent edge is not gonna happen.
I used a Wicked Edge a coworker has and while it is nice I dont like the fact of proprietary stones and having to buy 2 of everything plus edge up I see a safety potential. Also considering what he paid for it it seems it has some cheap aspects to it(stone holders are sloppy on the rods, less than stellar rod ends etc.)
Looked at an EdgePro, I want a clamping system plus having to move the blade location as you sharpen it would seem to introduce an additional error point.
I like the idea of the swivel system of the KME, it eliminates any human error of blade movement but again, it seems to not be constructed very substantially.
Not a fan of the Onion style either.
Which brings us to the TSPRO system. It appears very substantially built, rigid blade holding and versatile, accurate blade flip mechanism, near infinite angle adjustability plus what is a huge + to me, the ability to accept a wide variety of stones.
I know its pricey but it is comparable to the WE and EdgePro, I dont mind "buy once, cry once".
