Found this in a local shop for 1537.00

Yeah ... I hate the color of the furniture also !!
Looks to be like it’s hasn’t been fired much other then the stock being a little dirty.
Only comes with one mag.

That’s a ridiculous price with the scope included.

I have a black NATO (ar15 magazine) stock I painted white.

I’ve been wanting a factory white stock haha.

You will not regret this decision.

I suspect that won't last long at the price it's listed as. I'd buy it. But so will many others, don't hesitate too long. At that price you'll get all your money back if you decide not to keep it. Think of it as a $1500 refundable test-drive.

AUG's are great, go buy it.

Why haven’t you FO’d already! Post more pics when you get it. Also, you can do some pretty cool camo patterns using the white stock as the base.

Hopefully, you don't show up when they re-open and it's been sold or, somebody put down a deposit on it (I'm sure it will be there...FO hard bud). AUGs are wicked cool, love mine and I sure as hell wouldn't sell unless I was desperate for $$$. Is this a NATO or, Standard model out of curiosity?

It’s a killer deal. If you hate the furniture you can swap for a NATO stock that takes AR mags. You’ll lose the bolt release though.

I thought about intruding into the "Go-to AR" thread, but instead will just say the above is very true. I've really kind of lost my interest in ARs after buying an AUG.

Went back this morning and the guy working said it was a no go at that price. I was told by “ the boss “ that the $ 1537 was OTD. I guess he was just covering his ass not to sell it.

Was told the boss will be there tomorrow so I’ll go back then.
He did put it in back for me so we’ll see.

1537 is still a great price. Mine was 1689 and I have never seen them that low since. Magpul mags are 18 or 19 bucks and well worth it. Being white....you could have it cerakoted any color you like or even trade across as a lot of folks want the white stock.

Hint: burnt bronze AUGs are HOT!!!!!

That gun, by the way, is the same series as mine. About 500 earlier. Mine and my rommie's (same series) have been stellar performers.

Well damn !

I ended up buying a used Benelli pistol grip M2 last night which in turn put a dent for funding the Aug.

I still went back to the store that had the Aug and “ the boss “
was there today ! Ya !!

Told her what happened and ended up putting it on layaway for $ 1450 even. I tried to lowball her for $ 1200 OTD
I knew she wouldn’t take it but I just had to try.

So yes ! Future Aug owner soon !

I sold my 18" OD Tavor SAR for $1450. I would gladly turned that cash into an AUG.

Yeah that's a really good deal.

I look at it this way: essentially the OP bought a $1200 AUG M1 and threw a used scope housing on it for $250. Super deal. Had I seen it I would have bought it.

Nice score!

What color stock would you prefer?

You could easily trade that stock for another, white is uncommon as others have said.

I have a grey USR stock I was going to paint white but if you like grey I'd swap it with you.
