I am considering getting a Steiner DBAL I2 9007 with the IR aiming laser and IR illuminator. It seems to meet what my needs are best. I don't want to purchase foreign made anything if I can help it, and the Steiner is within my budget now that I worked 40 hours of overtime this last two weeks. If anyone has experience with this I would be glad to hear. Also who might have these in stock?

Ive been considering one and every says the illum is poor, especially in urban lighting settings.  I was looking at the D2 instead, but that has downrange visible signature issues.

I am about as far from urban as one can be. Open desert and mountains.

I had one and sold it for a D2.
It's not a terrible laser by any means.
The downside is zeroing because it's IR only so around dusk is the best time.
If you don't like the illuminator you could always suppliment with the Arisaka 250 IR head or the 750 IR head to meet your needs.
