Sorry for the delayed reply, but I haven't been to the forum in quite a while.
I own a State Arms Shorty. However, it is now, highly modified. I shoot it in FCSA Matches and truly like it. I will say, I did not like the stock brake (fish gill) at all. With my match loads, it hammered me quite a lot.
The action, bolt and trigger, are about the only "original" parts still utilized.
The action was inletted and bedded in a Manners Carbon Fiber Stock. Barrel we replaced with a Feddersen 34" 1.750" Barrel (Full Length). Brake was replaced and I went with an Armalite AR-50 Brake. It totally made the gun more manageable.
