Regarding the JARD trigger pack, when I first installed it I was super happy with how the trigger felt, shortened reset, lighter pull etc. On the first range trip with it out I got 107 rounds downrange and it stopped resetting. Bang, click, pull charging handle, eject live round, bang, click....etc. I made a post about it here, people said adjust it, I followed the directions provided, got the trigger back in working order, made another range trip and 38 rounds in, it did it again. I called JARD, they walked me through the adjustment, again, over the phone, I even added some blue locktite and took it to the range again. 18 rounds in, it locked up again, this time I sent it back to JARD and when I received it back, I got 43 rounds down range before it lost adjustment again. At this point, I sent my factory trigger to Black Talon and got it back about a week later. It dropped in, the trigger pull feels to be a similar weight and the pull length/reset (the part I care about the most) is about 90% of the improvement the JARD made which is still very acceptable in my mind. I now have ~600 rounds downrange with the Black Talon modified pack and I have had no issues with it. At this point I may send the JARD back one more time to give it one last chance, and I will send it with a tube of locktite and ask them to go at it. Otherwise it may just get binned as I don't wanna make it someone else's problem. Ironically I have had no problem with the JARD locking the bolt open on an empty mag, unlike most of the gripes I see here.

Tmag kind of looks like VHS-2 mag. Swapped over to a Forward Controls muzzle device so I can use my Sci Six on this gun. I think I need to put an IRIS 4 on the front and it'll be done.

So in this video, he has an iris 3 mounted to this handguard. From what I can find online the 3 and 4 use the same mount so the iris 4 should fit as well.  America Doesn't Need the XM7, It Needs the VHS-2 Eta: I say that but the 4 has a battery cap for the white light that extends out from the body that might interfere….hm. |

I got mine at "cost" from a Surplus store that was giving up it's FFL and I paid just under $1500. This is an out of this world price! |

Tell us about it I've been thinking about the same type of setup with a 20 as I already have an AEM5, but my concern would be the fitting the rear collar to the ribbed 20-inch barrel. If you have at least 2 1/4" clearance from the barrel shoulder to the start of handguard/gas block/whatever it should fit, and nice part about the VB6 is it just threads onto the muzzle device, no secondary stuff needed like the AEM5/OCM5 system.   I had to use an accuwasher to get the VB6 to fit on my 16" LMT barrel in the 13.25" MRP upper, otherwise it started bumping up against the receiver before the threads bottomed out. I have an 18" SOLGW SPR barrel coming in for it so clearance won't be an issue anymore, but nice to know I can run the 16" barrel with the can if I wanted to do it that way.    And since this is a VHS2 thread, one more picture. I brought my VHS to a scoped carbine class as my backup gun, but the LMT ran no problems so it didn't get used during class. Still love the VHS though, would have happily ran it if needed.  |

To anyone who’s installed the Lunartech grip assembly; is there a trick to pushing out the trigger shoe pin? There is no way to access the pin clip that I can see. I don’t want to hammer on it too hard but is that the solution? Disregard, I was able to finally get it. Takes some concerted strikes to defeat the clip. |
