9mm = 3/8" . trip to Ace. just roll it on a tabletop and you will see if it is straight

Best source I've found. Bought a number of variations from them and they all were delivered perfectly straight. McMaster-Carr.

Just put an order into McMaster and looks like I'll see rods on Tuesday!
I measured an alignment rod I got from Griffin and wouldn't you know that it's the exact diameter as the rod listed in the chart above. I'm sure that was no surprise too many but I just had to confirm myself. question for the hive - to check straightness, would rolling it on a glass table be sufficient? |
