Not anymore so than the charging handle or any of the stuff that hangs off an AR or AK. Shouldn't have loose gear dangling where it could get up under the rifle

Arid Concepts makes one similar.
I’m testing a nato one for them but haven’t put it through much use yet. They 3D print at the moment but are currently working with a shop to get some metal options out soon. |
