Picked up a nice used ZT0350 with the tiger stripe blade. Sent it back to KAI for sharpening and tube up. Got a note in email saying the tech decided the original blade had a factory defect. So they installed a new blade and will laser engrave the original serial number on it.
That is great customer service in my book. Good enough for me to buy a couple more |

or.... he totally f'd up the sharpening. But sounds like either way they are doing the right thing.

I sent in a ZT566 after the blade developed a crack right near the thumb stud. The blade was Elmax, and ZT had switched to a new steel. They gave me a choice of blade type and replaced it for free. It was quick and painless. Glad you had a good experience too.
