That's a SBS, barrel is only 12", OAL 24.75". A 14" barrel would put it in the Shockwave territory at 26+ inches. But I like the concept. Maybe they will do a non NFA version with a +1 mag extension.
The problem may be getting virgin receiver to acheive "firearm" status.

Edit: I'm gonna call these guys out for some excellent customer service. I emailed them and got a response in 2 minutes! Wow! Anyway they say it is only available as a 12" SBS or an 18.5 non-NFA because of the platform. It is because the receiver starts out as a stocked shotgun and is converted. If only they could get virgin receivers.

They have an non-NFA 18.5" too.

Their pump mag fed receivers are out,  maybe if there is enough interest they will make the semi receiver available to build a shockwave length firearm.

that looks like an 1100/1187 action. Don't they have a rod and spring going way down into the but stock? How can that be engineered?
Edit: I found "Relocate recoil mechanism"

I think that could be fitted in a shockwave grip. Ever seen Bonnie Parker's Whippet?

Yes, but if I'm not mistaken, on the 1100 it goes right to the end of the stock. You can access it at the buttplate.

That's great and all, but 5 shells... no thanks. Rather have an AR carbine and 20, 30, 40+ round mags any day.

Sir, may I kindly direct you to the AR forum
We're talking shotguns here and your comment is not germane.

If anyone ever makes a reliable semi-auto 'Shockwave' that's 5+1 and 26" OAL so it doesn't need a stamp, I'll be first in line to buy one.

Iver Johnson makes an 18" barreled semi that has a detachable stock, so you can have just a pistol grip if you like.
It's a lot cheaper at $430.
But I know nothing about Iver Johnson firearms, as far as reliability.

sko-12....

they gonna build a bullpup with same action, but then you have bullpup problems...

their sko-12 shorty is 26"+OAL, so you in pre-factory 14'" barrel territory (ie, gotta "roll your own")

the negative is their gun ships with 1, yes 1 5 rd magazine... horrible move i feel, i dont shoot it as often as i want to yet cause i dont have 2 mags, their buffer tube conversion kit costs $70-100 more than it should, and did i mention their semi automatic, DETACHABLE MAG gun only ships with 1 mag?!!?!?!?  when i first bought it i didnt care, now, i do.... hindsight 20/20

Honestly, I'd just go with a 1100 with a 18.5" barrel and have the stock.

Dear Benelli,

Please make a shockwave M4 or any kind of shockwave. I will buy one. Don't worry about the cost.

Thanks,
