Yep. Do yourself a favor, strip it down as far as you can and send it to Tarheel State Firearms and let them do their magic.

Not sure where you live, but there is likely a FFL with a laser to engrave nearby. In Phoenix I can get it done while I wait on a complete firearm for $45. I’d much rather not have to disassemble the firearm and mail parts anywhere.

Why not just find a trophy shop or engraver who can do it while you wait...

Mine was left intact while being engraved. Fit fine in the laser engraving cabinet.

I don’t have an engraver where I live. I ordered the HBI tool and will be sending it off to Tar Heel for engraving. Thanks everyone for the input.
