It's still a crappy gun.

Stock looks good.  I always liked the S&W76.  Fun guns.

Many mag dumps with a S&W 76.

I definitely do not consider them a crappy gun. As a matter of a fact, I like them a lot.

Sweet shooter with the integral silencer BBL.

Will always be a classic thanks to Charlon Heston.

Crappy gun?

Swedish K and 76 owners would disagree.....

I always liked them. Buddy has one that he got years ago and has never fired it.

Details on what parts to buy and where please.

I love my M76 but the factory stock is the only reason I don’t shoot it more often.

I really like my Smith76 as well.  I actually prefer it to my Uzi and M11.

I liked my Smith 76 enough that I recently built a titanium integral suppressor for it after searching for a SG9 for years without success.

I could not agree with you more, after dumping too much money into one I finally saw the light and got a Mac 11. I literally could not recommend a positive thing about this type of gun...With that said, I do like the look of your gun and hope it shoots well.

While I don't own an S&W76, I have shot my friends MK760. If I were looking to buy and didn't have an M11/9, that is absolutely the way I would go (the m11/9). The M11/9's lower cost (compared to the S&W) and tremendous versatility adds a ton of value. However I would not say the 76 variants are crap. I like my friends MK760. It is crude but at the same time has a nice cyclic rate and shoots relatively smooth. It's a nice gun for being a simplistic tube gun. Sometimes you have to like guns for what they are, instead of disliking them for what they aren't...
