I was very disappointed with the factory new 10/22 quality. The furniture. The plastic. It's all so cheap... but then Samson came along.
This is the 10/22 that should be leaving Ruger's factory, but I'm glad Samson stepped up to produce this stock and sight set.   Next a Kidd and a suppressor and I think this rifle is done. If your on the fence about the Samson furniture grab it. I can't imagine my 10/22 without it. |

I put a bunch of rounds through mine over the weekend. I shoot this rifle all the time now. And I can't keep my kids off it.

While the Samson stock is very nice, one costs somewhat more than I paid for a new Ruger 10/22 rifle just a few years ago.
The tail should not wag the dog. MHO, YMMV, etc. Be well. |

I'm prefer my Hogue Overmolded stock and Bull Barrel or the Magpul Hunter X-22 Stock, but its good to see more options that folks are enjoying...

I certainly wouldn't classify the Samson 10/22 stock as a bargain, but if you consider how well it's made, and the materials, I think it's reasonable to expect it costs $300. Not to mention a whole lot of fun! |

Throw a binary trigger into a stainless 10/22 set up with a Samson B-Tm stock and you've got yourself a pretty fun down-sized version of the A-Team's AC-556's.

Can someone tell me if the black folder is blued or painted? |
